Middle-earth

There was a time when the world was slowly plunging into darkness and chaos. A time with witchcraft and sorcery. A time where nearly none stood against evil.

The power of the Shin Hado

Shin= True, Hado= Surge

The Shin Hado is a spiritual energy same Ki or Chi. The only difference is that it originates from demoic power. Kadri orcs live as monks and spend their days training and meditating on the mysteries of the Hado, and mastering themselves and pursuing the Shin Hado for enlightenment and good.

Amongst those that practice the Hado, ones own personal motivations will decide which path they will go. The Hado is very seductive. The power can crush the will of even the most strong minded individual. Many of the Kadri wants to fight their dark past, proving to themselves they can be different. It is a dangerous path to take as using the Hado to achieve power conjures a demonic spirit within them that battles for control.

To avoid being posessed by the dark spirit, disipline, devotion and hard training is required to succeed. Anyone can become posessed, so mastery of the Hado is of the utmost importance. Some monks are tasked with traveling the land in search of children that show signs of The Dark Hado. The monks take the children in and train them to give them the opportunity to live a peaceful life, and aiding in ridding the lands of the dark Ki.

All the Kadri (good aligned orcs) that pursue the life of the Hado, must endure the trials. The trial starts in their training as children. If they succeed they will be able to master the control of their mind and body, even their surroundings. Their goal in life is to use the Hado for enlightenment and good. If they fail to maintain control the corruption within them may destroy them and consume their spirit, turning them into something else. Rage and destruction. Children can begin to learn the way of the Hado at a very young age. Once learning and mastering the Hado, even a mere child can defeat adult fighters.

"Our style was originally used for killing. The wish to become the strongest of all. You must never let such a
desire rule you, or allow the dark Hado into your fists. One who is posessed of an evil spirit will fight out of pride
until his dying day, and only to kill. Akimoto, one of the present dragon warriors, took up the dark Hado. His
hands became dark with his master Kaito`s blood as he killed him. He did it only to prove his superiority. The spirit of Akimoto was lost that day.

In many of the brotherhoods and monastaries devoted to the Hado, learning to tie your headband or belt is an important part of the training. You might say it`s more like a ritual. Whenever I tie my belt on I always ask my body a question:

Am I worthy of this fight?"

One of the other questions are "Why?". Why do you fight? I am not strong. Thats why I fight. I fight myself, against myself."

Hikaru Yurnero, a old Hado grand master of the Sunaxe clan.

The Evil Hado

Satsui no Hado, "Surge of the Murderous Intent"

"Open your eyes to the power of the evil Hado that lies within you. True strenght comes from the evil Hado. And when your blood begins to boil in its presence, listen to it, force it to submit to your power. Let those less worthy shiver under your might."
Shimura, master of the dark Hado, grand warlord of the Shadowstriker clan.

Art of the Dark Hado
The Dark Hado can be taught and mastered as well as regular Hado. The prize is steep and requires total dicipline and devotion to destruction. This means the demonic spirit will enter ones body, but the fighter can remain in control and force the demon to submit by sheer willpower. The Dark Hado can manifests in situations where anger or rage are evoked. Nearby objects like pebbels and rocks elevate due to the powerful surges of the dark Ki flow, as it sets off a bloodrage, posessing them with a demonic spirit (the source of the extra power).

The Satsui no Hado is a form of ki that is rooted in the darker aspects of natural instinct (including the desire to survive, trample, and impose over opposition), and, on a metaphysical level, the natural occurrence and manifestation of loss, decline, and destruction.

Harnessing the Dark Hado
To tap into the Satsui no Hado, one must be so consumed with the desire to win, or else possess such intense rage, that they are willing to kill. As such, only those who push themselves to be the best at all costs can take full advantage of it. Learning about the Satsui no Hado is the first step in learning the most fatal technique known to all of their martial arts - the Shun Goku Satsu, known also as "The Raging Demon".

Physical and Mental Change
For the people who do succeed in controlling the Dark Hado, become unbelievably strong, but at the cost of losing their humanity and compassion; they develop a cold, cynical detachment from themselves, as well as others, and develop a murderous (and almost suicidal) desire to fight. Orcs that attain a mastery level of the Dark Hado revert to the virtues of the Black Orcs, only with overwhelming power at their behest.

Masters of the Dark Hado also gain the power to sense, and potentially influence, the emergence of Satsui no Hadou in others. Once an individual has tapped into the Satsui no Hadou within them, it can be very hard to resist. Shimura is the only living orc known to date that was able to utilize its power without completely giving in to murderous and dark urges.

When under the Satsui no Hadou's influence, a person's eyes willl glow white and red. If one embraces it to a lesser degree, their eyes will glow blue. If one has used it to their fullest extent for too long, they will transform into a demonic being, likely one similar to Oni (The demonic spirits that posess ogres to become ogre mages).

Known grand users

Shimura, master of the dark Hado, grand orcish warlord of the Shadowstriker clan.
Shimura himself was once seen meditating while tapping into the Satsui no Hadou, so he encouraged and accepted the demon, but he did not lose his mind or soul. After the greatest inner battle of his life he defeated the demonic spirit within him into submission. This is why he kept his normal facial appearance and did not demonstrate signs of corruption. The technique of tapping into the Dark Hado was also how both his students Kyousuke (Gouken) and Akimoto were introduced to its power.

Shimura taught Satsui no Hadou (the evil Hado) to his pupils and later the Shun Goku Satsu. The move is an inherent quality of the dark power, but it can be taught.

Akimoto
Akimoto`s path to damnation was determined after he killed his first master Kaito. After Akimoto fully gave in to the Satsui no Hadou and fought the demonic spirit, he lost all of his benevolence, as well as his compassion as a person. He became a person who only seeks battle and more power. He attained a demonic appearance to match his darkened soul. His appearance changed to that of a larger, demonic being, with a supernatural power beyond that of his former self. The new entity calls itself Oni.

Kyousuke, the execrater, the exiled
Kyousuke was the older brother of Akimoto and trained together with him in their younger days. Kyousuke studied the Dark Hado under grand master Shimura to learn its veiled secrets. He was named an outlaw to the Obsidian empire for siding with the Shadowstriker Clan, but this membership was only a means to an end. As a result he discovered a toned-down derivation of the Dark Hado style by removing the dark power, and detested the Satsui no Hadou. Akimoto used the Dark Hado to murder their old master Kaito, a kind and wise man. Kyousuke condemned his brother Akimoto for his actions and for corrupting the Chikara no Hadou (Surge of Power) he taught him. A dark power used with or without the Dark Hado. He vowed to never teach it to anyone anymore. Kyousuke may use the Dark Hado, but his intentions were never to cause death and destruction. He sought more something like a cure for the Satsui no Hadou.

Tatsuo, a Dragon Warrior, former member of the Shadowstriker Clan
Shimura was actually pleased and somewhat impressed with his student Tatsuo for tapping into Satsui no Hadou for the first time during a life or death battle outside of their temple grounds. Tatsuo wanted to tap into Satsui no Hadou to become far more powerful, and wanted to use it for fighting to the death against warriors who he found worthy of killing. Shimura was unaware that his student had lost the battle with the demonic spirit that conjured within him. All of his "humanity" and his compassion were lost as he could not stop the side effects of this unlimited power. Although it is highly likely he had no desire to avoid the drawbacks, only to defeat the demon, in which he failed at.

"Evil" Shiraishi
During his participation of a deadly war, he finally realized that the Satsui no Hadou was the culprit behind his one victory in a duel versus a Grand Blademaster. Shiraishi vowed to reject the Satsui no Hadou, because he knew that he cannot control it, and does not want to kill any of the warriors he fights. Furthermore, even if he learned how to control it, he believe he would still lose his humanity like Akimoto.

Although Shiraishi never shows any signs of the Satsui no Hadou's influence after the events of the war he had countless nightmares about embraced the art, sometimes willingly and sometimes not. Furthermore in the later battles, he sometimes succumbed to the Satsui no Hadou and assaulting an opponent before returning to normal.

It was not until the end of the war that he was able to seal it away using the "Power of Nothingness" to help him control it like Kyousuke; however, it is unknown how long the seal will be able to hold his dark power. Still he is haunted by dreams of himself in a more powerful demonic form, admonishing his future if the seal ever would be broken

Kumiko Kasugano, a human Jade Hado warrior of the Raxxarian Jade emperor.
Kumiko was one of the royal bodyguards. She once fought Tatsuo as he tried to assassin the emperor. Tatsuo used his powers to invoke the Satsui no Hadou within her. Tatsuo fled as he realized his attack had failed. Kumiko was scarred by the Dark Hado after that night. She was able to control her powers, and her personality remained mostly unchanged. This also makes Kumiko the only female to have "used" the Satsui no Hadou at any point.

Kumiko stepped down from her position as head bodyguard of the emperor for his safety as she did not know how long she could withstand the Dark Hado. The emperor refused her desition and commanded  her to return as his personal bodyguard, believing in her strenght and vigilance.

Individuals who oppose the Satsui no Hado

Master Shiraishi.
A master of seals and fist of Kurodashi, serving under the orcish Obsidian emperor of Raxxan. At the time he works on improving the seal "Power of Nothingness" to negate Dark Hado within victims that have fallen under its influence.

Saruwataru, Orcish Grand master of the White Fist of Kurodashi.
The old and wise master, sensei of the Fist of Kurodashi Clan. He dresses in a white robe and have a long white
hair and beard. Fist of Kurodashi serve the orcish Obsidian emperor. He sometimes sit by the emperors side in the royal throne room.

Amon, the Obsidian Prince of the Jade Empire.
Paladin of Kurodashi and youngest son of the Obsidian emperor. After taking part in a great battle towards a huge shadow dragon that attacked their empire, he used his inherent powers to purify the darkness within the dragon as it lay on the brink of death, releasing it from its unholy prison. The dragon became his companion and ally, and without any notice they both left Raxxan. All he said to his father was that he will return when it is time. Whatever that meant.
