Ylvanna, Godess of nature

Ylvanna, Queen of the Earth and Giver of Fruits. She is revered by the druids of Middle-earth. There are also a few chosen by Ylvanna as her champions, unable to manipulate magic, and instead is given divine powers.

She created the trees, and is responsible for the animals and plants. It was she who requested the creation of the Ents, as she feared for the safety of the trees once her husband Maûl had created the Dwarves. The arrival of the "greenskins" threatened the wilds as well. The brazier containing "The Imperishable Flame" is created by Maûl at Ylvanna's request, and the light of the flame germinated the seeds that she had planted. Ylvanna sang into being the Two Trees of Valari. The Silver Tree and the Gold that brought light to the Land of the Valar in ancient times.
