The Nymphs

A nymph is a female minor nature deity typically associated with a particular location or landform. Different from gods, nymphs are generally regarded as divine spirits who animate nature, and are usually depicted as beautiful, young nubile maidens who love to dance and sing; their amorous freedom sets them apart from the Ahnur. They are believed to dwell in mountains and groves, by springs and rivers, and also in trees and in valleys and cool grottoes. Although they would never die of old age nor illness, and could give birth to fully immortal children if mated to a god, they themselves were not necessarily immortal, and could be beholden to death in various forms.

Wood Nymphs

Wood Nymphs are good magical beings that frolic throughout the forest(s), (sometimes in the company of a satyr) protect nature and the eternal spring, and enhance nature. They search along the outside world and spread nature, protect it, and enhance it.
Nymphs are described to be personifications of nature, and must according to the legends be allowed to roam free in it or they "suffocate." They have the power to enhance and even create nature magically, such as healing a plant or making it grow stronger, or creating flowers out of nothing. They also have the ability to teleport by frolicking into trees and bushes, fading away into it. Their transcendant beauty can also blind wicked men. It is said that a wrathful nymph can even stun a creature with just a look.
