Amaril, Land of the Valari

Amaril

Amaril was a continent far to the west of Middle-earth across The Black Sea. The isle of Amaril were such a powerful creation that its massive magical energies threatened to create a colossal tempest to ravage across middle-earth after the destruction of the Two World Trees. At the end of the Second Age, Amaril`s true power was removed from the surface of the Earth to another realm by Aru for Middle-Earth`s safety, and is no longer reachable by "ordinary" means of travel. The drained isle is still said to excist far to the west, still supposed to contain a fraction of its previous power. This event is the only divine intervention that Aru has performed in the history of creation.
