Alinthur, God of hate, chaos, destruction and carnage

Alinthur, a valari that got imprisoned for one whole age for his crimes. His chaotic personality and evil ways were apparent even from his creation. Alinthur was literally the rage and darker side of Aru. He was freed by Morgoroth in exhange for aiding him in destroying the Two Trees. His destructive nature and lust for revenge made it an easy choise. Morgoroth, thus freed Alinthur from his captivity, and the god of destruction destroyed the Two Trees. Concealed in a cloud of Malnikor`s conjured darkness, Alinthur struck each Tree with his two axes.

His ancient axes was created by his own rage with the sole purpose to drain all essence and lifeforce they could sink their vile fangs into. As a result the insatiable twin-axes devoured whatever life and light which remained in the two trees as they were destroyed.

After the destruction of the Trees, he followed Morgoroth into Middle-earth to aid in his plans to become ruler of the earth. But Alinthur had his own agenda, to kill the one that kept him imprisoned for an whole age, Israfiliel. So Alinthur betrayed Morgoroth, and fled right before the Ahnur decided to oppose Morgoroth in The War of Wrath. Morgoroth would never forgive Alinthur for his betrayal. This has resulted in many clashes between worshipers and cults of the two deities.

Cultists, greenskins and other individuals that wants to see other races in agony and revel in its destruction and chaos, worships Alinthur.
