The Griffin knightsThe Order of the Griffin Knights are located in Siria, the capitol of Eldorin. They were the royal knights under direct command of the king. As of today there is no present king, but Lord Marcus serves as Steward of Siria until a king or Queen is crowned. The Steward has served for a decade after the last Steward stepped down after the Civil War. There are in all twelve Royal knights that are elected that serve as the foremost warriors of the king`s court. They are the most regarded and wisest of the knights, together they are a part of the Stewards counsil.
The Griffin Knights Code:- A knight is sworn to valor.
- His heart knows only virtue.
- His blade defends the helpless.
- His might upholds the weak.
- His word speaks only truth.
- His wrath undoes the wicked!
As of today the knights seek an heir or a worthy successor to the throne, and hoping to unite Eldorin one day, to regain the tranquility and peace that once reigned.
Below is the illustration of a painting that is found in the Eldorin Royal Court, depicting the initiation of the first of the twelve Griffin knights. This ceremony supposedly took place after the victory over the Armies of Hell over a millennia ago.
